Overview
This project adapts Active Inference for social science audiences — developing conceptual translations, course materials, and research directions. It recognizes that Active Inference's account of agency, communication, and social interaction has deep implications for sociology, political science, economics, anthropology, and related fields.
Past Work
A 2023 course — 'Active Inference for the Social Sciences' — was produced and is accessible through the Institute's course infrastructure. The project continues to generate writing, research, and curriculum.
Participate
Social scientists, educators, and interdisciplinary researchers interested in connecting Active Inference to their domains are welcome to contribute.
