Action Research on Collective Foraging (Negotiation Affordances) applies Active Inference to collective foraging behavior — studying how groups form coalitions, negotiate opportunities, and sustain value exchanges. The project has a focus on long-term sustainability and social dynamics.
The project develops Active Inference models of collective foraging — treating groups of agents as inference systems that jointly minimize surprise about resource availability and social coordination. The work addresses sustainability, formation dynamics, and value exchange in collective settings.
Ecologists, behavioral scientists, and Active Inference modelers interested in collective behavior are welcome.
