The Active Inference Institute operates as an open-science nonprofit. All of our educational materials, research outputs, software, and community resources are freely available to the public. This work requires infrastructure, coordination, and sustained effort that philanthropic support makes possible. Donations help ensure that Active Inference education and research remains accessible to anyone, regardless of institutional affiliation or geographic location.
Philanthropic contributions fund: operational infrastructure for the Institute and its community platforms; audio-visual production for livestreams, podcasts, and educational recordings; event organization for the Applied Active Inference Symposium and other gatherings; educational program development including textbook groups, courses, and workshops; support for interns, fellows, and volunteers; and maintenance of shared computational and storage resources.
