The first mission centers on the Numinia AI embodying Active Inference values — learning, adapting, and acting in a game world that reflects the free energy principle. The project is developed by Numen Games, a game studio that began the Numinia effort in 2020, with an early proof-of-concept experience, The Adventure of Curiosity, released as a first step toward the fuller game.
