Dear Active Inference Community,
We are thrilled to share that the Active Inference Institute has officially been recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization by the United States IRS. This significant milestone is the result of several years of dedicated effort.
We would like to acknowledge the vital participation of many individuals at the Institute. Also we would like to appreciate the team at Fried Frank law firm, who provided excellent pro bono legal support during this phase of our establishment.
With this organizational status, we may now be eligible to receive your tax-exempt charitable donations. Your generous support will help sustain and extend the work of the Institute and ecosystem, supporting the accessibility, rigor, and applicability of Active Inference. If you value our mission and wish to contribute, please consider making a donation at donate.activeinference.institute .
At this time, for any other comments or questions on philanthropy and donations to the Institute, please communicate with [Contact the Institute](site-contact) .
For the organizational Partnership affordance (which may include structured financial or in-kind donations), see: partnerships.activeinference.institute .
Thank you for your continued attention and consideration. We look forward to all the next moves we’ll take together.
